we loved our stay at kasaguadua. Carlos is an exceptional host and it was a amazing experience all round. we stayed 3 nights and could have much easily stayed longer. we took part in the tour which gave us a background and purpose to the place. there is a great restaurant and also a cafe and coffee farm up the road. the kitchen and facilities are amazing. Luna 🐈 was also the best cat I have met on my travels.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ecolodge Kasaguadua! Perfect for the adventurer who wants a little tranquility amongst nature. Fun 20 minutes hike through the forest which added to the feeling of remoteness and overall experience. We stayed in the smaller ecopods and they were surprisingly spacious and we had no issues keeping warm or dry even in the rain. The host Carlos was eager to answer any questions we had and gave us some great information about the surrounding areas. He was even quick to answer any questions we had long after we left. Great resource and very intelligent guy! Would love to stay there again if we are ever back in the area!

This will be a long review. I will start with Carlos who is the man who built the lodge. I was fascinated by what he is doing - building and maintaining a sustainable lodge with no impact on the nature. All the knowledge and efforts ... Just wow! You can't even use your own soap and shampoo - Carlos will provide special ones. Washing dishes has also it's ins and outs in Kasaguadua. You also have to see his library in order to understand more about him. I think he is my new favorite human being (besides my partner). What about the facilities ... Built by hand in the middle of the forest, the facilities are even better than the ones shown on booking's pictures. It was so cozy and crafty, even luxurious. Due to our tight schedule, we didn't manage to have a tour around with Carlos. I am sure he would have shared with us his vast knowledge.

This is a very special place, run by very special people. I absolutely loved it! It's much better than staying in busy Salento and you can still do the same activities. You just have to factor in the 20-min walk up the hill. From the road, it's very easy to find (public) transportation into town. The location of Kasaguadua is also ideal for visiting the coffee fincas. You can easily walk there. And there's a great little restaurant with beautiful views very close to the entrance of the nature reserve. I'm so glad I stayed there. Next time I'll stay for a week!

Fantastic place to stay a couple of nights deep in the forest. Not far from various coffee fincas offering tours if you don't mind a 30 minute walk. William was an incredible host, from the moment we arrived his energetic, infectious positivity made us feel immensely welcome. He cooked a tasty breakfast each morning and we spent the evenings chatting (he is very knowledgeable about all local activities, fincas, bus options for onward travel etc.) and drumming. His humour and company is honestly one of the best things about this place! The cabins are cute and comfortable, and the main house is beyond stunning, we weren't prepared for it when we arrived, honestly the pictures don't give away how uniquely designed and beautiful it is. The kitchen is the best we have had access to so far on our travels, the living space is comfortable, they even have a movie room and a large selection of DVDs if you fancy a movie night!

Wonderful calm lodge in the middle of nature, with everything you need to relax. William was an excellent host who was eager to share information about the area, for example where to go for a good coffee tour. You can hike around the lodge to a nearby river and see some animals. Our hut was small but sufficient and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provide a lot of things to do, like books, a tv with Netflix, a chess game and drums to make music.
