Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing. Just be aware of the night tours, they offer a party show in a cruise and this is a very bad experience and expensive for tourists. The drinks served in the ship are bad quality and a lot of people were sick afterwards. There is no show or animator, its just a way to rip off tourists

Moving from Hotel San Luis Place to a different hotel was my best decision. My second hotel La Reina del Mar was located on a lovely palm tree lined sandy beach. The beach was cleaned daily and had access to a bar and restaurant staffed by extremely polite and friendly staff.

Loved the water. The tours were great.
Loved the water. The tours were great. There is placed call white water and i love it. What i dislike of San Andrés is that some places were so dirty. Buildings need to be repair. Shops should sell clothes for people of plus size and should be more accesible for handicapped. I will definitely come back to San Andrés because of the beautiful water and the beautiful people. I was impressed how people in the island speaks several languages

They charge a Environmental fee of sorts but I was disappointed to see that these fees are not used to keep the island environmentally friendly.
Garbage washed up on shore , garbage everywhere on the island. Old cars puffing out fumes . Many of the cars have engine lights on . No apparent recycling, water not drinkable
Where is the money being collected going to ?
Island has the potential to be a paradise , hope to see changes next time I am back

San Andrés is the most beautiful sea I've seen.
San Andrés is the most beautiful sea I've seen. The colors of it, it's hard to find in other place.
The service, specially in restaurantes, could be better, considering they live from the tourism. But I assume it is cultural.
However, is a beautiful place to spend between 3.and 4.days.
Amazing hosts! Helped with everything I needed and even more. Very friendly and nice people, helped me to book my tours on the island, helped me with transportation and renting a bike, and took care of me when I felt bad - the best overall experience of staying in a hotel in my life. The hotel is cozy, well located close to the city but further from the major noise, amazing view. The kitchen is simple but useful if you want to cook yourself. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom.
Perfect place for couple and families. Room has compfy beds with AC.Very clean. You can use kitchen. Nice backyard you can rest in hammock after beach or trips on islands. My room had balcony where I enjoyed breakfast. Very Easy to get to beach 15min walk or I used moto taxi. Closeby is rental bike lady Iris offer also trips to island in good price. However aiport is 15min walk from hostel any noise not boder us.
The location is perfect! We could walk from the Hotel to any part of the island even the airport is so close, you could walk to the Hotel yes or yes. The pool and the activities were okay, you can spend your time in the pool, and it's a good time. Also, the central beach is in front of the hotel so it's a really good experience. The night events were also good, but sometimes you felt quite repetitive.
This hotel is well located close to the beach and offer a very good value for money. The room was clean and provided enough space to store and put your things. Eyk was a fantastic host, very nice and helpful person and gave us good tips for our stay on the island. He even brought us to the airport at the end.
I would definitely recommend to book here for your stay, it is a good decision.
Everything you need is there at the hotel restaurant, gentlemen who help book things like scuba diving parasailing renting vehicles like motorcycles and jet ski. Also massages available. It is right in front of the beach I will be coming to this hotel every time I go to San Andres. Also me and my husband went he is Colombian I’m American I was surprised on how many people spoke English.
Location is great! The hotel is right on a very good beach, a bit outside of the centre (10' by taxi, or 6USD). There are some other hotels on the same beach so you can choose where to get a drink or eat. As well on the road at the back of the hotel there are some shops and small eateries. Staff is super friendly, good wifi as well. Good beach bar.
The pictures exaggerate the property!
It’s clean and comfortable , and with the poor existing condition in San Andres , it’s ok. Our room was facing a junkyard and portable toilets!!!! We had requested a late check out , and had to pay extra to secure it! Overall the staff are trying to help, but with the Island attitude ( everything moves slow!!!).
There is nobody in the island that treated me like the owner... The word exceptional is a relative insult to how they behaved, because they truly made us feel like family. It was amazing sharing time with them and the whole community, since it's a whole group of people involved in housing that take care of the people staying at the place.
It was a well-maintained hotel near the west of the island, where all the scuba diving spots are located. The hotel room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful with local recommendations to eat and visit, and it was a quiet neighborhood. You'll need a go-kart (mulita) to move around, but it is worth every cent!
close to the airport 10 min by walk
close to the Main Street in the island where there is all the commerce and restaurant
well equipped and clean and very calm (apart from the noise coming from the plane since the airport is really close)
we had a really good stay in San Andres
good value for money ! we recommend
Casa Ingrid must be one of our best stays during 2,5 months in Colombia. The host is very welcoming and made sure you have everything you need in the apartment. Its comfy and well decorated with all kitchen utensils you need (and you will need them on San Andres). Thank you so much Ingrid!
A nice family run hotel in the city of San Andres. A 20 minutes walk to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and filling, although the variation from day to day little. The hotel has a nice pool, open until late evening.
The location and the staff.
Six floors with at the top a good ambience to have party.
No hot water, but it’s not a problem and it’s a thing that you have to cope with because it’s like this in all the island.
Scuba school was a plus, if you go to this hotel must try, profesional instructors help to have a good experience. The room and the breakfast was good, a/c included. San Andrés Island is a Paradise. Enjoy!
Great location in a quiet area of the island. Directly across the street from the beach and easy walking distance to several beach bars and tiendas. Luzmila and Olga were wonderful hosts.
The accomodations were great and the views are really beautiful. The rooftop is on a 9th floor, so you can see a lot of the sea and also s great part of the island.
