Honda is hot so be prepared.
Honda is hot so be prepared. The old town, though small, is well worth investigating and especially the views of the River. Lots of opportunities to take guided tours of the countryside by horse or on foot. Countryside is stunning and the locals very friendly.

There are not so many tourists yet and it is small but it has some great assets. First of all, the museum of the Rio Magdalena, which was very beautiful. Also a trip on the river is extremely nice, with the mountains on both sides and a lot of different species. We really enjoyed the nature and the fish that is native to this part of the river.

There’s absolutely nothing to do except melt and enjoy it.
There’s absolutely nothing to do except melt and enjoy it. I love the eC20th market place, the little pockets of national history that you stumble upon, the bougainvilleas in the old colonial part, and nearby towns.
Wonderful place to stay. The lady running the Casa is so helpful and great at her job. She helped me organise a two hour tour of the area which as I spoke no Spanish was such a help to me. The house is wonderful, swimming pool like something out of an old style movie stars house. Location was the best in town, could walk in 5 minutes to a square that had a fine restaurant. Super value for money, and Honda is an interesting colonial town in a wonderful wild location.
Everything. The warmth and excellent service of the staff (especially Carlos), the aesthetically pleasing renovation of this historic property, the strategic location in Honda’s old colonial core. Plus the delightful swimming pool, the fact that secure parking is available on site (though getting into the garage from Calle de las Trampas is not for the faint of heart) and satisfying breakfast.
We had a great stay here. The bedroom was very big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and towels were provided. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast served for us, some traditional food we'd not tried before. The location is perfect if you want to go for a wander around the small town of honda.
The hotel decor and layout was lovely and the pool exceptionally welcome given the high temperatures of Honda. The staff were welcoming and helpful and dinner was very good, breakfast could be a little more varied. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.
Stayed in the "penthouse" with rooftop terrace which gave me both privacy and an incredible view over the old town of Honda. Hostess Pilar bent over backwards to ensure I had everything I could possibly need or want during my too-short stay.
Beautiful landscape with amazing staff always willing to assist you.
They have GREAT vegetarian food, one of the best I’ve every tried since it’s kinda difficult to find these kind of options in rural areas of Colombia.
Absolutely amazing reception and service by the staff. The pool is great, the rooms comfortable, and we really liked the decor. Drinks and food were delicious as well. Will be back next time we're in Honda.
Sra. Esperança is kind. It's a basic hotel which is no problem but they should be honest about it. The location is in the centre on a busy road, but between 22h. and 6 h. there is little trafic.
This is a great B&B right in the center of Honda. The hosts are extremely friendly and help you to get organized. The whole place is designed with love and care. Really love it!
- quiet hotel close to many restaurants and bars, but far enough away to be away from the noise.
- great air conditioning
- nice size pool
- comfortable bed
