Hostels in Medellin

Dear reader,
I would also like to recommend our Medellin travel guide, which offers a perfect overview of the tourist attractions in Medellin. Enjoy reading it!

Looking for the best accommodation in El Poblado on a budget? Here you have some of the best hostels in El Poblado, this exclusive zone of the spring city of Medellin-Colombia.

I recently visited Medellin to know the current offer of high-quality accommodation for international travelers in El Poblado. If you don’t know, El Poblado is the 14th of the 16 ‘comunas’ or districts in Medellin – the most exclusive one.

The following list is organized by neighborhoods so that you can choose your hostel depending on your needs and itinerary.

Hostels in Manila, El Poblado

Manila is a prestigious neighborhood delimited by the Regional Avenue and the Carrera 43 A from west to east, and the Street 10th and Street 14th from south to north.

Before being a neighborhood, it actually was a vacation house from a well-known family! And from being strictly residential, it developed into a mixed neighborhood with many businesses but conserving its traditional architecture. You can find restaurants, hostels, minimarkets, hair salons, among other shops, all guarded by a police station.

Hostels in El Poblado-Provenza, El Poblado

El Poblado neighborhood is the center and cradle of the El Poblado district. Some call it Poblado Centro to make a distinction.

It extends from El Poblado Avenue (Carrera 43 A) to the Carrera 32 D, and from the streams La Poblada (to the north) and La Presidenta (to the south). However, it is commonly subdivided into two sectors or so-called neighborhoods: Provenza and Lleras.

It is the proper definition of a Pueblo: church, school, journal, radio station, notary, bank, supermarket, parks, streams, drugstores, restaurants, hotels, and more services found. But it is known for one thing – the party. Most of the bars and nightclubs are found here, one for every taste.
